Document Destruction - Destruction Process

TARC Industries destruction process follows the standards and ethics outlined by NAID (National Association for Information Destruction)
Destruction Process:
-
Quality, secure and locked containers are provided to assure security at your premise.
-
We will pick-up the locked containers, after getting an appropriate signature and leaving a copy of the pick-up notice.
-
The locked containers will remain locked while they are loaded into a locked truck and in transit to our facility.
-
When the truck arrives at TARC Industries, the containers will be unloaded and taken to our secure, locked and monitored shred room where they are logged in and weighed.
-
Security cameras monitor the entire off load process.
-
The paper is then sent to our document destruction area. This area provides double security. Only individuals with key code authority can enter this location. All containers are under surveillance from the moment they arrive at our dock.
-
The shredder cuts the paper into 1/2” strips and a conveyor system is utilized to move destroyed material to our automated bailing system.
-
The bales are put onto pallets and loaded into a trailer.
-
Once the trailer is full, it is sent to VIM Recycling in Muskogee, OK where it is turned into pulp.
-
The pulp is then turned into paper towels and toilet paper.
